Every application checked. Every signal explained.
TalentShield connects to your ATS and reviews each application as it arrives. Recruiters get an Application Integrity Score, a plain-language badge and the reasons behind it. Nothing gets rejected automatically, and nobody has to open another tool to get the answer.
TalentShield is a recruitment fraud prevention tool that runs inside an applicant tracking system. It checks every incoming job application against more than 70 signals across four areas, calculates an Application Integrity Score from 0 to 100, and shows recruiters a plain-language badge with the reasons behind it. It produces signals, never verdicts: no application is rejected automatically and every recorded decision is a person's. Data is hosted and processed in the EU. It is built by Team Up Recruitment, a technical recruitment agency in Łódź, Poland, and runs on the agency's own pipeline.
- Input
- Each application as it arrives in the ATS (CV file, form data, public professional profile)
- Output
- Badge on the candidate record, score, list of signals with evidence, full report in the dashboard
- Signal areas
- Document integrity · Timeline consistency · Identity and contact data · Cross-application patterns
- Decision
- Always human. No automatic rejection, ranking out or filtering
- Time to result
- Minutes after the application arrives
- Hosting
- EU infrastructure; AI processing on Azure OpenAI Service in Microsoft's EU Data Zone; no training on customer data

Connect your ATS
Native integration or API. No new screen to learn, no change to your process. Recruiters keep working where they already work.
Each application is checked against 70+ signals
Document integrity, timeline consistency, identity and contact data, cross-application patterns. Deterministic rules where the question is closed, AI where it is open. Results in minutes, not days.
Recruiters see the score, the badge and the reasons
Application Integrity Score from 100 down. One signal means "have a look". A cluster means "look before you book the interview". The verdict is always yours and it is always recorded as yours.
Four areas. One question:
does this application hold together?
Most tools score candidates. We help recruiters verify applications. One value off the reference range is a note for the doctor, not a diagnosis. Interpreting it is a human job.
Document integrity
What the file says about itself and whether that matches what the candidate says. Hidden content, authorship, generation traces, templates, metadata.
Timeline consistency
Roles that overlap, dates that drift between the resume and the public profile, gaps that are explained and gaps that are not.
Identity and contact data
Whether the name, phone, email, location and public professional profile point at one real person.
Cross-application patterns
Signals no single resume can show: the same phone block, the same skills section, the same file fingerprint across many applicants.
The score, and what it
looks like in practice.
Without the maths
Every application starts with a clean slate. Each signal takes something away, depending on how strong it is. Signals across several areas count more than any single one, because clusters are what separate a messy real resume from a fabricated application. The result is a number from 0 to 100 and one of four badges. It sorts the pipeline, it never rejects anyone, and it is never the last word.
Rules where the question is closed, AI where it is open
"Was this file last edited in a different time zone than the one the candidate lives in?" is a closed question. A rule answers it, the same way every time, with no data leaving our EU infrastructure. "Does this work history read like it was written by the person who lived it?" is an open question. That is where we use a language model, running in Microsoft's EU Data Zone, which receives only the fields that check needs and never writes the text you see.
Signals evolve, so does the library
TalentShield runs on every application our own agency receives. When a new fraud pattern shows up in that pipeline, it becomes a signal the same week, and every customer gets it. Over 70 signals today, and counting.
Application Integrity Score: higher means more consistent with a genuine application. The badge sorts the pipeline. The verdict is always the recruiter's.
Real applicants also
game your ATS.
Fabricated identities are the dramatic case. The everyday case is a real person with a tool and an incentive: a resume generated from your job ad, dates stretched to close a gap, or a paragraph hidden in white text that tells your screening software what to think.
This one came into our own pipeline. The resume looked ordinary. The hidden text addressed "automated analysis software" and asked it to approve the candidate. TalentShield showed it as a Concern-level signal with the text as evidence. The recruiter spent a minute on it instead of an hour.

The resume contains hidden text
There is text invisible to a reader but readable by software, typically placed to influence an ATS or parser.

Questions recruiters ask
on the first call.
Four areas: document integrity (hidden text, authorship, generation traces, templates), timeline consistency (overlapping roles, drifting dates), identity and contact data (whether the name, phone, email, location and public profile point at one real person), and cross-application patterns (the same phone block, skills section or file fingerprint across many applicants). Over 70 signals in total.
A number from 0 to 100 that summarises how consistent an application is with itself and with public information. Every application starts at 100; each detected signal lowers it depending on its strength, and signals across several areas count more than any single one. The score sorts the pipeline. It is not a decision about the candidate and it never rejects anyone.
No. It shows recruiters a badge, the score and the reasons. Every recorded verdict in the system is a person's. This is by design and it is what the EU AI Act expects from a high-risk recruitment tool.
Minutes. Verification starts when an application arrives in the ATS and the badge appears on the candidate record when it is done. Existing applicants can be checked on request.
For some checks. Closed questions (for example, was the file edited in a different time zone than the stated location) are answered by deterministic rules. Open questions (does this work history read like it was written by the person who lived it) use a language model running in Microsoft's EU Data Zone, which receives only the fields the check needs. The model classifies; it never writes the text recruiters see. Which checks use which approach is documented for customers.
